Here you’ll find an overview of every study association linked to the National Day of Communication. Each year the NDC is organised by another association.

S.v. Communiqué

This year the NDC will be organised by S.v Communiqué.
S.v. Communiqué is the study association for Communication Science at the University of Twente. It’s founded in 1994. That makes it one of the older associations. S.v. Communiqué has organised the NDC in 2010, so this year will be the second time they’re responsible for the organisation of the congress. You can visit their website here.

SV Contact

SV Contact is the study association for Communication and Information Sciences in Utrecht. The association was founded in 2001. They had around 550 members in 2016 and they’ve organised the NDC of last year. If you want more information about SV Contact you can check out their website here.

EOS

EOS is, in contrary to the other associations, a faculty assocation for Social Sciences. This means every student of that faculty can be a member of the association. It was founded in 1996. EOS has organised the NDC in 2011 and 2015. If you want to know more about EOS you can visit their website here.

Mercurius

Mercurius is the study association for Communication Science at the UvA in Amsterdam. The association was founded in 1988. That makes it one of the oldest associations for CS in The Netherlands. Mercurius has organised the NDC in 2015 together with EOS. You can visit Mercurius’ website here.

Commotie

Commotie is the study associations for Communication and Information Sciences students from the RUG as well as Communication students from the Hanzehogeschool in Groningen. They’ve organised the NDC in 2012 and 2014. You can visit Commotie’s website here.

Mycelium

Mycelium is the study association for Communication Science at the Raboud University in Nijmegen. It was founded in 1989. Mycelium is one of the founders of the National Day of Communication. They’ve organised the congress for the first time in 2009. They did it for a second time in 2013. You can find more information about them here.

Babylon

Babylon is the study association for Communication and Information Sciences in Nijmegen. The association was founded in 1989 and has organised the NDC in 2013. If you want to know more about Babylon you can find their website here.

Flow

Flow is the study association for Communication and Information Sciences in Tilburg. It was founded in 2002 and has around 400 members. If you want to know more about Flow you can visit their website here.

Ipso Facto

Ipso Facto is the study association for International Development Studies and Communication Science in Wageningen. Communication Science in Wageningen distinguishes itself from other communication studies throughout the Netherlands because its focus is on the applicability of communication on life science themes. As of September 2017, the name of the study will therefore be changed in Communication and Life Sciences. More information about Ipso facto can be found here.
