The National Day of Communication (NDC) is the congress for every communication student and professional in The Netherlands. The day is brought to life by the eight study associations that are related to communication sciences. The idea came because there was a lack of congresses like this. The associations made a deal and since then the congress is organised annually by one or more of the associations. So the day is fully organised by students.

The first time the NDC was held was in 2009. It was organised by Mycelium. After that it has been organised by S.v. Communiqué (2010), EOS (2011), S.v. Commotie (2012), Mycelium & S.v. Babylon (2013), S.v. Commotie (2014), S.v. Mercurius & EOS (2015) and S.v. Contact (2016). This year it’s S.v. Communiqué’s turn to organise the congress. This will be the first time that it will be fully in English.
